It will be a ‘Cracker of a Christmas’ with our Christmas cracker surprises.

In celebration of you, our essential workers, we want to say thank you with a 12 Days of Cracker Cash giveaway. Every day for 12 days leading up to Christmas, eligible Members* will be in the running to win one of 12 cash prizes of up to $200.

Best of all, you don’t have to do anything to enter. If you’re eligible, you’re already in the draw!

*Competition Details

Entry into the ‘Health Professionals Bank 12 Days of Cracker Cash Giveaway’ is automatic for eligible Members of the Bank. Entry is limited to one entry per Member. 

Eligibility

An eligible Member is a person who is: 

  • at least 18 years old;
  • a Member of the Bank;
  • digitally active with the Bank, which means that the Member has:
    • had at least 2 Internet Banking (IB) or Mobile Banking App (MBA) logins in November 2023; and
    • at least 2 IB, MBA or E-wallet transactions in November 2023; and
  • not one of the following:
    • a person who is a Director of the Bank;
    • a Member of the Members Committee of the Bank;
    • a current employee of the Bank; 
    • a person who has been a Member for 35 days or less as of 4 December 2023;
    • a Member that is a deceased estate or whose Membership is marked “Estate of the Late” or whose Membership is as a trustee for a deceased estate;
    • a Member whose membership is marked as Non-Shareholding, Resigned, or Resignation pending shares;
    • a Member who only has dormant accounts;
    • a Member who has a bad debt written off by the Bank, or who is bankrupt, or who has had legal action against them taken by the Bank or a judgment in favour of the Bank against them;
    • a person who is not a Member but only a third party with authority to operate on the account of a Member;
    • a person who is a customer of the Bank but who is not a Member; 
    • a Member who is a company, an authorised deposit taking institution, a person who only operates business accounts with the Bank, or an association;
    • a Member whose Membership is marked DO NOT USE;
    • a person who is only a prospective Member; or
    • a Member who has opted out of direct marketing from the Bank.

Winner Draw

All 12 winners will be pre-selected, via a random number generator, from a list of eligible Members as of 4 December 2023. 

Announcement period

The announcement period commences 14 December 2023 and concludes 25 December 2023.

During the announcement period, the name of one winner a day will be posted on the Bank’s social media platforms. 

Prize details

There are 12 cash gifts between $200 and $25 awarded to 12 eligible Members of the Bank, distributed a follows:

1 x $200.00, 1 x $150.00, 2 x $100.00, 3 x $80, 2 x $60 1 x $40 and 2 x $25

The prize will be paid into the winner’s Everyday Account via a direct credit by the Bank within 10 working days of the announcement period concluding on 25 December 2023.

Winner promotion

The winners will be announced on the Bank’s social media using a combination of their first name, surname initial, City and/or State (i.e. Jane.D, Sydney, NSW) for an unlimited period of time for the purpose of publicising this promotion by the Bank. A winner can request at any time that their details are not included in (or removed from) the social media posts.

Winner notification 

Winners will be notified in writing via email a day prior to the aligned daily social media announcement and published on the Bank’s social media platforms.
